If a Recurring Schedule results in a schedule falling on a day where the actual schedule is different, such as a Bank Holiday, then a Schedule Exception can be created. If no schedule is required on this day then use a Schedule Exclusion instead.
Create the exception schedule by Adding a New Schedule then select the Exception to Existing Schedule option.
In the drop box that appears below the Exception, select the Schedule to which this is an exception.
Select to save the Exception schedule.
On this day, the original schedule will be removed and replaced by the Exception schedule. In the example above this means that the recurring schedule 'Internal Building Tour' that would have appeared will be removed from the recurrence and the new schedule will be presented to the user instead.
